Hello, and welcome to Happy Grey Lucky, a lifestyle blog with an eye for clean and minimalist design in all areas of life.
My name is Sina, pronounced “See” (like the letter “C”) + “nuh”. My husband, Chris, and I live in Toronto in a little red brick house near the beach with our two children, Isabelle and Nicolas.
I started this blog in May 2016 to create a space where I can share my affinity for simple, monochromatic, Scandinavian design in and around the home as well as to document bits and pieces of this absolutely amazing and thoroughly exhausting journey that is motherhood. I love to craft, make pancakes, and travel the world. And I have an unhealthy obsession with all things grey, coffee, and IKEA.
Why the name “Happy Grey Lucky”? I wanted something catchy and easy to remember. I also wanted to incorporate the word grey. My style is very monochrome and minimal and what better colour to convey that than grey? I also like to think I’m pretty easy-going and I approach pretty much all aspects of my life – parenting (for the most part, anyway), decorating, getting dressed – with a casual, laid-back attitude. So instead of “Happy Go Lucky” we have “Happy Grey Lucky”.
