Christmas gift guide for everyone on your list

‘Tis that time of year again! Of sitting by the fire with a steaming cup of hot chocolate. Of bundling up with cozy hats and scarves and the excitement that comes with that first snowfall. Of matching family jammies and writing wish lists to Santa Clause. The holiday season is by far my absolute favourite time of the year and, come November, I can’t wait to break out the decorations and start with all our fun family traditions, like baking cookies, decorating the tree, and watching the Santa Clause parade. And of course shopping for the perfect gift for everyone on my list!

I’m so excited to be partnering with Indigo this year as part of their Indigo Holiday Blogger Picks to share my top 10 picks for the holidays. Indigo really is a one-stop shop for finding the perfect gift for everyone on your list – they have so many amazing picks from home decor, tableware, fashion accessories, kids toys, tech gifts, and of course books! In fact they’re Canada’s largest book, gift and specialty toy retailer, with over 200 stores from coast to coast. I especially love all of their exclusive holiday gifts developed in-house by Indigo’s Design Studio. So many beautiful pillows, throws, candles, mugs, holiday decor, and much more! #EveryGiftTellsAStory and Indigo’s thoughtfully curated collection of holiday gifts lets your loved ones know how much you mean to them.

Here are my top 10 Indigo holiday gift picks for 2017:

Christmas gift guide for everyone on your list

[ 1 ] Toy Advent calendar . I always try and do a non-sweets Advent calendar for my kids since the holidays are already filled with so many sugary goodies. My kids are currently obsessed with Playmobil so this year we’ll be gifting them this amazing Playmobil advent calendar.

[ 2 ] Reading socks . Is there anything more perfect when it’s cold outside than snuggling up by the fire with some cozy socks, a hot drink and a good book? These maple leaf reading socks are so incredibly soft and the perfect gift for any Canadian on your list!

[ 3 ] Kids Christmas book . Get your kids in the spirit with a classic Christmas book like How the Grinch Stole Christmas. No holiday season is complete without the Grinch, Max, Cindy-Lou, and all the residents of Who-ville!

[ 4 ] Copper drinkware . There’s just something about copper that embodies the Christmas spirit to me. This copper mule mug is perfect for serving up a classic Moscow Mule or your favourite Christmas cocktail.

[ 5 ] Faux fur pillow . The holidays are all about the cozy factor throughout the entire house and this faux fur pillow cover is the perfect addition to any sofa or bed.

[ 6 ] Cozy bathrobe . You just can’t go wrong with a cozy bathrobe and this shaggy fleece robe fits the bill perfectly.

[ 7 ] Cheeseboard . Any wine and cheese enthusiasts on your list? This monogram cheeseboard is sleek and stylish and the monogrammed letter makes it all that more special.

[ 8 ] Wireless speaker . For the techie on your list, the Ultimate Ears Wonderboom portable bluetooth speaker is small in size and big on sound. Plus it comes in 6 different colours to blend with any decor. (I’m partial to the pink – so pretty!)

[ 9 ] Pom pom hat . Keep your kids’ noggins nice and toasty with a knit pom pom hat like this Arborist kids toque. I’m absolutely obsessed with this Mountie print (can you tell I’m a proud Canadian?) – such a fun detail. There’s also an adult version of this hat and you know I’m all about the family matching, especially for the holiday season.

[ 10 ] Cookbook . If you’ve got a cooking enthusiast on your list, chances are they’re already obsessed with the amazing food blog, Smitten Kitchen. Deb’s new cookbook, Smitten Kitchen Every Day is perfect for cooking up delicious and unfussy meals every day of the week.
