Creating a Scandinavian-inspired kids room doesn’t have to cost a fortune. It also doesn’t have to be a big change all at one. You can add smaller, budget-friendly decor pieces here and there to build up the perfect baby or kids space. They key is to branch away from only nordic designers and include some of the amazing Scandinavian-inspired designs in your own country as well as from around the globe. I do have several pieces from my favourite Scandinavian brands (Ferm Living, House Doctor, Bloomingville) but I also source a lot of my pieces from Etsy (such a great selection) as well some great local brands, like Gautier Studio, that I’ve recently discovered. All mixed in with some inexpensive IKEA and H&M items to create the perfect mix.
